The challenge

Six depots planned their day on paper and in a shared spreadsheet. A plan took an afternoon, changes after 6am were guesswork, and nobody could reconstruct why a route had been altered.

Our approach

We spent two weeks with dispatchers before writing code. The result is one keyboard-first screen backed by event-sourced routes, so any plan can be replayed, compared and audited. We rolled out depot by depot with no parallel spreadsheet period.

Deliverables

What we shipped

  1. 01Keyboard-first daily planning interface
  2. 02Event-sourced route model with replay and audit
  3. 03Constraint solver for vehicle, window and load limits
  4. 04Driver-facing manifest view
  5. 05Depot-by-depot rollout with zero downtime
